Working virtually offers convenience and flexibility but, meeting face-to-face adds an entirely different dynamic. This is a fact we can not deny.
The recent team gathering in Buenos Aires, was a chance to not only strengthen our work strategies but also to connect as individuals on a deeper level. During informal conversations, a popular topic was whether our dimensions matched the expectations we had envisioned.
Our team came together at a coworking space to strategize, innovate, and strengthen our relationships. Having the people you speak to every day on zoom at arms length is a unique experience.
Sharing meals or exploring the streets of Buenos Aires, we got to do what is difficult in a regular day of work: talk without having the limit of the next task getting in the way.
Working from a coworking space also added a positive element, giving us a fresh and creative environment where ideas flowed more naturally. This being said, we all missed our home set ups that include monitors of our choosing, the ability to listen to music, proximity to our own bathrooms, and a refrigerator filled with all our favorites.
As we reflect on this trip, we’re reminded of the importance of balance: embracing the efficiency of remote work while valuing in-person gatherings. These moments boost morale, strengthen our company culture, and help align everyone toward our common goals.
We’ll likely be back together a few times in 2025. It’s going to be a good one.
