One of the most interesting things we’ve experienced lately is working with another staffing firm – StevenDouglas.
They didn’t come to us as clients in the traditional sense. They were looking to solve two challenges at once:
- Hiring support for their own internal operations
- Sourcing remote talent for their clients in a more scalable way
What made it work so well is that we weren’t stepping on toes. We weren’t replacing anything.
We were just helping them do what they already do – faster, smoother, and with more flexibility.
We helped them fill a few key support roles behind the scenes – the kind of work that keeps things moving but often gets overlooked.
And eventually, they started saying: “Hey, this could work for our clients too.”
That’s when it shifted from a one-off collaboration to something more organic.
We were no longer just part of their hiring strategy – we became part of their delivery model.
No big reorg. No massive change in workflow.
Just a quiet evolution that helped them meet demand without burning out their core team.
We’re sharing this not to say “look what we did” – but because this kind of collaboration between staffing firms feels underused, and full of potential.
If you work in staffing, you probably know the tension:
You need to scale.
You need to keep quality high.
You need to deliver – fast.
But doing all of that, without overloading your team or lowering standards, is tough.
This experience with StevenDouglas showed us something simple:
You don’t always have to choose between moving fast and doing things right.
Sometimes, teaming up is the smartest move.
