(MEX) Motion Graphics Designer

A New York-based performance branding agency that builds and scales digital campaigns for consumer brands including The North Face and Ben & Jerry's. The team works across paid social, search, display, and creative, with regional teams in Mexico and Colombia. On-site role in a modern, pet-friendly coworking office.
Role Summary
The Motion Graphics Designer creates eye-catching, arresting design for digital campaigns while understanding performance metrics and iterating based on data insights. The ideal candidate specializes in motion graphics, or is a visual designer with strong motion experience. AI tools are a core part of how the team works across every function. The role reports to the Creative Directors and is fully in-office in Mexico City, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D motion graphics and creative concepts
- Analyze ad performance using KPIs and implement learnings
- Create modular content, long-form campaigns, and brand activations
- Collaborate on storyboards and presentation decks
- Communicate progress with project leadership and team members
- Propose innovative, non-traditional creative solutions
- Stay current with emerging trends and platforms
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience, ideally in digital advertising and content, particularly paid and organic social
- Strong portfolio showcasing engaging motion and campaign work
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of typography, animation, and motion graphics
- Experience with AI motion tools and image generation
- Passion for digital advertising and social content
- Professional English; resume and portfolio must be submitted in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with InDesign or Premiere
- Automation tools and workflow knowledge
- Experience with Google Slides and Frame.io
- Data-driven creative iteration skills
