Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems using PHP 7.4 and 8.3 within Laravel and custom MVC architectures
• Develop and deploy AI-driven features and API-based machine learning integrations
• Manage database design and optimization using MariaDB/MySQL
• Use Docker for local development and deployment parity
• Work with frontend build tools including Webpack, Laravel Mix, Lerna, SASS/SCSS, and Babel
• Implement image processing workflows using Imagick for server-side image manipulation
• Contribute to Python-based automation scripts and GitHub-driven workflows
• Maintain code quality standards across version migrations and custom architecture extensions

Requirements

• 5+ years of PHP development experience (7.x through 8.x)
• Deep expertise in Laravel framework and custom MVC architecture
• Proven AI development experience: deploying intelligent features and API-driven machine learning
• 5+ years using Docker for local development and deployment
• Proficiency with MariaDB/MySQL
• Experience with frontend tooling: Webpack, Laravel Mix, SASS/SCSS, Babel
• Strong architectural skills - ability to build and extend MVC patterns independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with Imagick for complex image manipulation
• Python language experience
• Shopify development experience (Liquid, Shopify APIs, app integration)
