CAD Drafter

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Architectural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential interior design, able to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and elevations to bring interior concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for residential interior design projects
• Prepare accurate floor plans, sections, elevations, furniture layouts, millwork drawings, and detailed specifications
• Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to translate design concepts into technical drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with studio standards and client specifications
• Revise and update drawings based on designer feedback and project changes
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
• Coordinate projects with the part-time draftsperson and provide occasional project/team oversight

Required Skills

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Architectural Drafter, preferably in residential interior design
• 5+ years proficiency in AutoCAD software
• Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, collaborative mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients concurrently while meeting deadlines
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (US-based studio)

Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Drafting, or related field
