A financial services firm seeking top-tier data and finance talent to lead critical transformation projects. They operate in a fast-paced environment where data-driven decision-making is central to their strategy.
The Role
A hybrid finance + data analytics position. 85% of your time will focus on data architecture, cleansing, and engineering - 15% on strategic interpretation. You will operate independently, reporting directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure a single source of truth
- Identify operational gaps and financial variances through data mining and propose data-driven solutions
- Build dynamic financial models and real-time dashboards for executive decision-making
- Manage project lifecycles autonomously, ensuring all milestones meet quality standards
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in FPA or data analytics
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive problem-solver
- Expert-level Excel with Power Query and DAX
- Advanced SQL: scripts, views, relational database schemas
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Deep understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and percentage of completion accounting
- Background in manufacturing a plus
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
Nice to Have
- Power BI or Tableau
- Python or R for statistical analysis and automation
