Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger activities and postings
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements compliant with GAAP
- Coordinate and support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support internal and external audit activities with required documentation
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial controls
- Collaborate across departments to provide financial and operational insights
Requirements
- 6-9 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with general ledger management and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Financial analysis and audit support experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fund accounting or real estate accounting background
