UX Designer

Role Summary

A passionate UX-driven designer who takes pride in their work, an independent thinker who pushes boundaries, solves problems, and keeps up with trends to consistently produce better work.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence and define the creative and design strategies of an already successful organization that operates like a startup
• Create designs ranging from concept sketches, wireframes, and visual designs to interactive prototypes, style guides, and icon sets
• Help set the evolving vision for how the team approaches UX design, research, and problem-solving
• Work alongside designers, technical project managers, developers, and partners to maintain creative vision throughout the project lifecycle
• Help build products and meaningful relationships with partners and team members

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience designing great products, individually or leading a team of creatives
• True empathy for the users you're designing for
• A relentless drive to solve difficult challenges and improve how people interact with technology
• Ability to discover user/partner/client needs and translate them into UX strategies
• Experience with Figma or other prototyping tools
• Comfortable explaining design rationale and presenting to teams, partners, and clients
• Motivated by great user experience over "art for art's sake"
• Comfortable sharing ideas, disagreeing confidently, giving/receiving direct feedback

Nice to Have

• Experience in professional services/digital agency business
• High-level understanding of web/mobile app development, UI/UX, and QA terminology
