A boutique finance and accounting firm that serves as an outsourced finance department for startups and small businesses. They go beyond traditional bookkeeping, partnering closely with clients to manage day-to-day accounting, build financial roadmaps, and support long-term business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions across multiple client accounts
  • Process payroll and related reporting requirements
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support internal teams and clients with day-to-day accounting needs
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure proper accounting flow


Requirements

  • 3-6 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and/or Xero
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Comfortable working US Eastern hours


Nice to Have

  • Experience bookkeeping for startups or small businesses
  • Hands-on payroll processing experience
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Background in financial reporting within a team environment
